My Name is Khan" star Shahrukh Khan has had no luck at airports lately, but that didn't stop him from leaving Mumbai airport yesterday afternoon to take his new movie to Abu Dhabi! With him were his co-star Kajol and producer Karan Johar.
And let's hope that SRK had a smoother ride at Mumbai's airport than he did at London Heathrow the other day!
Khan spoke about the latest airport incident on BBC's Jonathan Ross show this past week and said "I was in London recently going through the airport and these new machines have come up, the body scans. You've got to see them. It makes you embarrassed - if you're not well endowed," said Khan, referring to how the scans print out images of a person's genitals."
But all well that ends well and it seems like Shahrukh's sense of humor came out on top once again:
"I was a little scared. Something happens [inside the scans], and I came out. Then I saw these girls - they had these printouts. I looked at them. I thought they were some forms you had to fill. I said 'give them to me' - and you could see everything inside. So I autographed them for them."
Well we don't know what SRK prefers; be detained at a U.S. airport or exposed at a London airport! But judging from the pics our photogs snapped of the star at Mumbai airport yesterday, Shahrukh had a good time, although some paparazzi got a bit too close. There's no place like home!
